From Principles to Basic Research and Applications

18th (Monday) to 22nd (Friday) | February, 2019

Main Topics of the Nano-Optics school are (among others):

  • Plasmonics (Nano, nonlinear, Bio-plasmonic);

  • Super-resolution imaging/nano-imaging (microscopy) techniques. Nanoscopy;

  • Ultrafast nano-optics and nonlinear optical spectroscopy;

  • Single-molecule techniques and manipulation;

  • Nano-biophotonics. Applications in biophysics and medicine;

  • Novel nanolithography;

  • Terahertz sensing and Attosecond nano-nonlinear optics.

PROGRAMME of the school

NOTE: This is a tentative schedule designed to give attendees an idea of what to expect. Times listed are subject to change. A more detailed final school program will be published in January.
